Btw resident evil has been like that throughout all the series(except for the light gun ones).You always have to stop in the game to aim and shoot.The new style makes that concept better(more strategy and challenge in shooting).

Resident Evil …
Resident Evil veered off into different genres twice so far with the Survivor series and RE4 and 5– three if you count the on-rails Umbrella Chronicles. This is the only reason why I’m not completely ed about these Action sequels. However, the core of the series are Puzzle oriented investigative horror with trademark fixed camera which gave off a feeling of always being watched, and artwork and design where, in fact, the environment in itself was indeed a character.
